How to tell us about illegal content, what we do about it, and how to challenge a decision.

Telling us about something illegal
If you think anything on Pasabay is illegal — a listing, a message, a review, a photo, a profile — tell us. Use the report option on the thing itself, which records exactly what you are pointing at, or email hello@pasabay.eu. You do not need an account, and you do not need to be the person affected.
This is for content that breaks the law. If something breaks our rules without being illegal, report it the same way and we will still look — the difference only changes which grounds we decide on.
What to include
A report can be acted on faster when it carries:
- why you believe it is illegal — enough for someone else to see the problem;
- where it is, precisely enough for us to find it — the listing, the message, or the profile;
- your name and email, so we can confirm we got it and tell you what we decided; and
- a statement that you believe, in good faith, that what you have told us is accurate and complete.
You can report child sexual abuse material without giving your name or email, and we will act on it just the same.
What happens next
We confirm we have received your report. We look at it and decide — a person decides, not an automated system — and we tell you what we decided and how to challenge it. We handle reports in a timely, diligent, non-arbitrary and objective way.
We can't promise how long it will take. What we can promise is that you'll hear back rather than be left guessing.
If we act on something you posted
If we remove or hide your content, limit what your account can do, or suspend you, we will tell you: what we did and what it applies to, what we relied on and why, whether a report or our own check started it, whether any automated means were involved, and the law or the term of ours that it rests on.
You can reply to that message to contest it, and a person will read it. You can also take the matter to a court. Nothing here takes away that right, or any other legal remedy you have.
When we tell the authorities
If we suspect that a criminal offence involving a threat to someone's life or safety has taken place, is taking place, or is likely to, we will inform the law-enforcement or judicial authorities concerned and give them what we know.
