Who operates Pasabay

Pasabay is operated by Sisu Software Oy (business ID 3634070-1), a company registered in Finland.

  • Representative — Mikko Juhani Sysikaki
  • Address — Sorakatu 9 A 75, 20730 Turku, Finland
  • Telephone — +358 40 757 6613
  • Email — hello@pasabay.eu

The address above is where the work of running Pasabay is actually done. We have no office in Japan.

What it costs

There is no charge to use Pasabay. Creating an account, posting a trip or a request, making and accepting offers, messaging, and completing a delivery all cost nothing.

The reward a sender pays a traveler, and the cost of an item a traveler buys, are agreed between those two people. They are not our charges, and we are not a party to that arrangement.

When you get the service

Immediately. The marketplace is open to browse without an account, and everything an account can do is available as soon as you have one.

Cancelling

You can stop using Pasabay and delete your account at any time, from Account settings or by emailing us. There is nothing to cancel and no notice to give, because nothing is charged.

Cancelling a specific delivery you have already agreed with someone is a different thing, and the Terms of Service set out what happens — including when an item has already been bought or handed over.

Conditions that apply

Some limits are built into the service rather than agreed case by case:

  • you must be 18 or over to hold an account;
  • routes are limited to the countries we have opened, and a route through any other country is refused;
  • how much a single delivery may be worth depends on your tier, and the limit is shown before you commit; and
  • some items may not be carried at all — the prohibited-items list is shown when you post.

Identity verification is required before some actions. Japanese users are asked for a passport or driving licence; we do not accept the My Number card and do not collect the individual number.
